Since 1994 Mark is a long-time member of the Markquart Motors team and it is prominent in the relationships he has with his customers. “People I’ve had business relationships with that bought cars from me, they’re still buying cars from me 20 years after the fact,” said Mark. With 22 years of sales experience under his belt, Mark enjoys what he does because no two days are alike, which is what makes his job “fun and exciting,” he said.

Since 1999 If you are in need of a laugh or just some good conversation, Dan is the person to turn to at Markquart Motors. Dan is always ready with a joke or a funny story, and always has his door open. He started at Markquart Motors in 1999 as a product specialist, and today, we are lucky to have him as a sales manager. In his spare time, Dan likes to hunt and fish, but most importantly, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Sara, and their three kids, Elijah, Kylie and Emma.

Since 1986 Tony has been in sales since he graduated high school. Originally, Tony began selling office machines, but then switched things up in 1986 when he was recruited to join the Markquart Motors family. While working for Markquart, Tony worked in a variety of positions until he found his passion as a used sales manager. When he’s not working at Markquart, Tony is spending time in the great outdoors with his wife, Cindy, and their yellow lab, Duke.

Since 2013 Working in automotive sales comes secondhand to Brian, as he has been dealing with cars since 1999. Brian enjoys working at Markquart because it’s different every day. “I never know what weird curveball I’m going to get thrown,” he said. When Brian is not hitting them out of the park at Markquart, he can be found spending time in the great outdoors with his wife, Holly, and their two children, Tegan and Kiana. As a family, they love spending time outside, hiking, fishing and participating in sports.

Since 1984 Dan is a Chippewa Falls native who has been with Markquart for over thirty years! He works in our used vehicle department and he’s responsible for finding our preowned inventory. His favorite part about his position is the opportunity to fill the gaps and meet demand in an ever-changing market.

Outside of Markquart, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife, Nancy, and their daughters Sara & Sophie. Dan also coaches traveling softball and on his own, raised $100,000 for the Hallie Ball Fields! Jack is originally from Madison, Wi. As you can tell by his last name, his family owns this business and he has wanted to be a part of it since eighth grade! His favorite part about working here is that he has had the chance to learn about each department before going into sales. He was able to work part-time in lanes and recon while he was going to school, he learned the rest through his summer management internship. In his free time Jack enjoys fishing, and playing paintball! An interesting fact about Jack is that he has now accomplished learning each and every department at Markquart Motors! Jack’s dream vehicle is a red Yukon XL Denali!

After thirteen years in the human service field and now eight years in the car business, Craig joined Markquart to be a part of a very community orientated business. He grew up in Chippewa Falls and graduated from UW Stout. He now lives in Eau Claire with his wife Christina, their 11-year-old daughter Annabelle, and their collie-shepherd mix Jake. His favorite part of the job is communicating with customers about all the vehicles we have, the technology and features offered are very exciting to him. In his free time, he enjoys watching his daughter participate in soccer and basketball. He also enjoys reading John Stanford novels, hanging out with family and friends around a bonfire, and especially watching Badger football! An interesting fact about Craig is that he is a total US President and history buff, he has been to several presidential libraries, historical, and burial sites. Craig’s dream vehicle? GMC Sierra Denali.

Since 2014 Cory’s high school days were just a premonition of what was to come later in life. At age 16, Cory worked at Markquart GM in Chippewa Falls in the detailing department. After graduating high school, Cory joined the Marine Corps and travelled the world as an ammunition technician for 4 years. Once his time in the Marine Corps was up, Cory’s passion for cars lead him back to the automotive business, where today we find him as an internet product specialist. When Cory isn’t busy selling cars at Markquart, he spends his free time working on his 2005 Pontiac GTO. Although, Cory says he wishes he was working on his dream car, a Chevy Corvette ZR1.

Since 2014 While Bryan isn’t a native of Eau Claire, he definitely feels at home here. Bryan and his wife of 15 years, Tiffany, moved to Eau Claire from Blue Earth, Minnesota, back in 1998. Once settled, Bryan established Ankeny Builders, LLC, where he built and remodeled homes. After 12 years of running his own business, Bryan was ready to start a new chapter in his life, which led him to Markquart. Things haven’t slowed down for Bryan, though, as he and Tiffany keep busy with their four kids, ranging in age from 1 to 10. Bryan also enjoys fishing for walleye and rocking out on his Godin guitar.

Since 2007 Randy became a part of the Markquart Motors family in 2007 when he sold his Hertz Rent-a-Car business to Dave Markquart. Since then, he has grown his career as a successful product specialist with Markquart. Randy’s love of automobiles extends past his job, as he has been a part of the Indianhead Old Car Club since 1978 and is currently the club’s treasurer. He loves tinkering on old cars, his favorite of which is the 1966 Thunderbird Convertible.

Tim is a Chippewa Valley native who has worked at Markquart for 14 years. Previously, he was the assistant service manager, but now he decided to try his hand at customer service! He said he looks forward most to making customers happy and finding the right vehicle for their lifestyles. Tim and his wife, Amy, run a horse farm near Mondovi, WI where they train show horses and cow horses. When he’s not busy with that, Tim also enjoys hunting and fishing in Western Wisconsin. Since 2017 Chris Kaiser is no stranger to a family business which is one of the reasons why he has found a home with Markquart. He says that he grew up in his family’s business where they grew (and still sell) the perennial herb, ginseng for decades. After college, Chris found himself in the automotive industry which he enjoys because it provides him with different challenges and opportunities every day. His favorite part of his job here with Markquart are the customers that he gets to meet and the coworkers that he gets to work with each day. In his free time, Chris finds himself spending quality time with his wife, Danyelle, and three kids, Annalia, Allyson and Isaiah. He is also very passionate about fitness and nutrition and notes that he especially enjoys going to the gym and weightlifting. A trait within himself that Chris finds pride in is his ability to build rapport and trust with a wide variety of people. Stop in and chat with Chris the next time you are in the area!

Since 2009 Akbar’s favorite kind of car is the Chevrolet Corvette, so it makes sense that he is Markquart Motors’ Corvette Specialist. He has received specialized Corvette training through Ron Fellows Racing School, and recently, he attended the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Dealer Sales Academy at Spring Mountain Motors Sports Ranch in Pahrump, Nevada. Aside from cruising around in the latest Corvette model, Akbar enjoys travelling around the U.S. with his wife, Katie, and their sons, Mikyle and Maysum.

Andy is originally from Saginaw, MI, but after his years spent as a Diesel Mechanic in the Navy, Andy settled in Green Bay before eventually moving to Eau Claire. After running his own flooring company for years, Andy decided to try out another one of his dreams – selling cars. Yes, Andy has always wanted to be in the car business. He says it’s because he loves talking to other people and he wants to help them find their perfect vehicle. Andy’s hobbies include home brewing beer, light mechanic work, and spending time with his wife, Lori, and their two sons & their families. Andy hopes to try out the Chevy Volt because of its hybrid technology. Next time you need a new vehicle, give Andy a shout!

Since 2010 Before Rick got into selling cars, he sold menswear. Rick had worked at Rada’s Menswear ever since his dad opened the store in 1967, and eventually took it over in 1997. When interest in menswear waned, Rick closed his store and ventured into automobile sales. In 2010, he came to Markquart Motors where he remains today as a product specialist. He says his favorite part of his job is meeting new people and helping take care of their needs.

Born and raised in Chippewa Falls, I have been in sales my entire adult life. After 15 years in the golf and hospitality industry, I decided to make a change. Nothing makes me happier than conversing with and helping customers, so my wife thought, maybe I should try selling cars. Even during my short career with Markquart, I know there is no other company I would fit better with. Everyone is so welcoming. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and dog, seeing my family whenever I can, golfing, and enjoying the outdoors. My favorite vehicle on the lot is a 2023 GMC Sierra.

Carly started out working in our Service Department for eight months, but moved positions to become one of our Delivery Coordinators. Tony Douglas, one of our Product Specialists, is Carly’s dad, which is how she decided to join the Markquart team. Carly says she is excited about this job because there is so much opportunity that comes with it since she is always learning new things. She loves interacting with customers and seeing different faces every day. Carly’s dream car is a brand-new Cadillac XT5 or a Buick Encore. When Carly is not on the clock, she enjoys reading and spending time with her dog. Be sure to say hi to Carly next time you find yourself in the Sales Department!

Sam has a background in insurance and sales, he loves interacting with people and was looking to get into a more exciting industry. What intrigued him about working at Markquart was the pace and environment here. He grew up in Cumberland, Wi for part of his life and Chippewa Falls, for the rest. His favorite part of his job is the interaction with customers and having exposure to the sharpest vehicles in the area. When not at work, he enjoys traveling to experience new places, and spending time outside with his friends. An unusual fact about Sam is that he placed gold and silver in two different weight divisions at a Minnesota State Judo tournament in high school. His dream vehicle is the Cadillac CTSV Coop.
